Granola with Honey and Yoghurt

This is how we do breakfast in Marbella

  1. Prepare the Granola:

    • Oat Flakes: Start with a base of crunchy oat flakes. Spread them out on a baking sheet.

    • Mixed Seeds: Add a variety of mixed seeds to the oat flakes. This could include sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and flaxseeds.

    • Sliced Almonds: Sprinkle sliced almonds over the mixture for an extra nutty flavor and crunch.

    • Dried Berries: Mix in dried dates and cranberries. These will add a burst of sweetness and a chewy texture.

    • Natural Vanilla Extract: Drizzle a small amount of natural vanilla extract over the mixture to infuse it with a subtle, aromatic flavor.

  2. Bake the Granola:

    • Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

    • Spread the granola mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even toasting. The granola should be golden brown and fragrant.

    • Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. The granola will become crunchier as it cools.

  3. Prepare the Yoghurt:

    • Choose your yoghurt base. Greek full-fat yoghurt is a great option for its creamy and rich texture.

    • Spoon the yoghurt into a serving bowl.

  4. Assemble the Dish:

    • Once the granola has cooled, sprinkle a generous amount over the yoghurt.

    • Drizzle organic honey on top for natural sweetness and a touch of luxury.

    • For decoration, add fresh raspberries, blackberries, a sprinkle of dry raspberry powder, and edible flowers. These not only enhance the visual appeal but also add fresh flavors and textures.
